The CCGs across South Staffordshire (including East Staffordshire CCG) have a joint Safeguarding team. We believe that safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is everyone’s responsibility, irrespective of whether they work directly with children and vulnerable adults.
We have a duty to ensure that the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults is safeguarded and promoted. East Staffordshire CCG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all employed staff to share this commitment.
You can find out more about safeguarding and what to do if you are concerned on the Staffordshire Cares website.
The CCG policies for safeguarding are available in the following documents:
The CCG also maintains a policy to ensure its compliance with the Mental Capacity Act, this can be viewed via the following link: Mental Capacity Act Policy
