Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in south Staffordshire have launched a review of child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) in their areas, as part of the refresh of the CAMHS service specification delivered by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
An online survey has gone live today (24 March 2021) with parents, young people, support groups and other stakeholders invited to take part.
The survey is designed to get feedback on current services and to provide interested parties with an opportunity to share ideas on ways in which the services could be improved.
The survey will run until Sunday 20 June 2021.
The CCGs leading this survey and engagement are Cannock Chase CCG, East Staffordshire CCG, South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula CCG and Stafford and Surrounds CCG.
Following closure of the survey, the responses will be analysed and a report written. This will then be used to help shape the refresh of the CAMHS service specification delivered by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and how children and adolescent mental health services are delivered in the future.
