This Spring Bank Holiday (Monday May 25), services will still be serving communities across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
GP surgeries will be closed. However GP extended access appointments will still be available across the weekend and on Monday. NHS111 and NHS111 online will be available.
Dr Steve Fawcett, a Medical Director for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs said: “GP surgeries will be closed however there will be still a wide range of services available including an enhanced community pharmacy rota.”
GP appointments are available through the normal GP extended access arrangements. Just ring your GP practice as you would normally to book. Most of these appointments are currently taking place by phone or video link.
If you are worried about Coronavirus the online NHS111 Coronavirus service should be your first port-of-call, but ring NHS111 if you are unable to get the advice you want online or have other conditions you want urgent help with.
Dr Fawcett added: “I hope everyone has an enjoyable Spring Bank Holiday, and please remember to get your Coronavirus information from official NHS sources and not social media.”
